Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq is visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for talks with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The visit aims to strengthen the “deep-rooted, historical, and fraternal relations” between the two countries, as reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Discussion on Bilateral Cooperation and Joint Efforts

During the visit, Sultan Haitham and President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed will discuss various aspects of cooperation and joint efforts in mutually beneficial fields. Continuing the Momentum of Economic Agreements

This visit follows a meeting between President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Sultan Haitham in Oman in September 2022. During that meeting, the two leaders signed several economic agreements, highlighting the commitment to enhance trade and investment relations. Notably, they established a joint railway company worth $3 billion, reflecting the shared vision for regional connectivity and economic integration.
