Despite this setback, Infosys has stated that the imposed penalty is not expected to have a significant impact on their financials, operations, or other activities.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time Infosys has encountered legal challenges in recent years. Back in 2013, the company faced accusations of visa fraud in the United States. Subsequently, Infosys reached a settlement in the case, agreeing to pay a substantial amount of $34 million.
